Physical Media Expo is dedicated to champion the preservation, celebration, and education surrounding physical media in all its diverse formats, including vinyl records, cassette formats (VHS/Laserdisc), compact discs (CDs), DVD, and Video Games! Similarly, 80s Fan Fest brings together talented content creators to celebrate past shared experience through nostalgia and the tangible things we remember from our childhood!
During this collective event you will have the opportunity to watch your favorite content creators, and meet new ones, as well as engage with them through the live chat feature as they share their collections, give you a virtual studio tour, and also share their passion for nostalgia with you. Think of this as Instagram Live or YouTube Live, but on a larger scale and hosted on an official live-streaming platform with rotating Special Guest sessions. Live Session tickets are limited so please secure your tickets now and join your community of collectors and nostalgists to participate in this exclusive inaugural event!!

Physical Media Expo/80s Fan Fest! is an event intended to grow the awareness and support of physical media as well as the celebration of nostalgia for present and future generations.
We believe that every ticket sold is a confirmation by our attendee/patrons that they believe in this same cause- and our goal is to grow this event into a quarterly event, expanding it to resemble Live/In-person events as our event budget grows. We have a vision of creating a global event with vendors you can shop from in their virtual exhibit room, and sponsors that wish to align themeselves with this important mission.

Q. What is the purpose of this event?
A. Physical Media Expo/80s Fan Fest is a celebration of nostalgia and physical media culture. The idea is to provide a nostalgic experience for fans away from social media apps and on a live-stream platform where we have greater control of the content and the ability to engage the audience better.
Q. Why is this event being held virtually if it's about "Physical Media"?
A. We wanted to make this event accessible to everyone from the comfort of their homes. The cost of attendance is also a large part of why we chose a virtual expo. As attendees of past events, we understand it can be cost-prohibitive to attend Live, in person shows, due to hotel, airfare, and other costs. That said, our goal is to one day host an in-person event alongside the virtual event! Additionally, we are working with our platform to enable exhibitors to be able to offer items for sale directly through their virtual exhibit rooms!
Q. How will the expo celebrate physical media?
A. The expo will feature discussions on the importance of physical media, collections on display, and a few how-to sessions about how to start collecting certain media and best practices. If you love vinyl records, VHS tapes, cassettes, dvds, video games, and even toys, you won't want to miss this event!
Q. How can I participate in the live panels and Q&A sessions?
A. Simply register for the event and join the scheduled live-stream on the day of the event. All attendees will be able to use the live-chat feature and comment and ask questions on the fly. Our chat moderators will pick out questions for creators to highlight and respond to.
Q. Is this event suitable for children or younger audiences?
A. Totally! The event is family-friendly - One of our primary missions is to introduce younger audiences to the culture and media of the 80s and 90s and 2000s.
Q. How can I stay updated on event details and announcements?
A. Once you've purchased your ticket you will begin receiving timed emails providing you with more details and updates on the event. Please make sure you move our email to your inbox so it bypasses any filters or spam - We also recommend you subscribe to THIS FREE NEWSLETTER written by our event emcee and producer.
REFUND POLICY
Tickets for Physical Media Expo/80s Fan Fest! are not transferable and cannot be exchanged. If you’d like to request a refund on your ticket purchase please follow the instructions below.
All refunds requested prior to July 15 are subject to a $5 processing fee and must be submitted by the refund deadline. Tickets are non-refundable after the July 15 deadline, and any requests submitted after the deadline will not be processed.
Please note, Physical Media Expo/80s Fan Fest! is an event intended to grow the awareness and support of physical media for present and future generations. Prior to requesting a refund we hope you will consider your purchase as a patronage to this mission. It takes a lot of work to issue refunds manually, and we are charged a service fee for issuing refunds, so please take that into consideration. We priced the tickets so anyone could attend.
Physical Media Expo/80s Fan Fest! reserve the right to change our cancellation and refund policy at any time. In case of cancellation of event, all tickets will be refunded.
